Job Location: Thessaloniki, Greece


You will be working within a team of MDM Engineers to ensure master data integrity in key systems as well as the processes to maintaining data quality. You and your colleagues will identify areas for data quality improvements and help resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Modifies software to fix errors, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces
  • Consults with colleagues on project status and proposals
  • Evaluates interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements
  • Selects appropriate technologies for ETL processes from Informatica IICS, custom Java code, and other tools
  • Develops ETL processes using available tools
  • Configures Reltio Master Data Management platform to modify data model, match rules, lists of values, and survivorship strategies
  • Executes and directs system testing and validation procedures
  • Executes and directs software programming and documentation development
  • Analyzes information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system
  • Prepares reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status
  • Collaborates on development of test cases and execution of unit and integration testing
  • Performs peer code reviews

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience in ETL tools and pipelines
  • Good knowledge in any of the following technologies: Java, Kafka, MongoDB, Informatica IICS, Kibana, Grafana, Kong
  • Effective interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Good understanding of Agile principles and methodologies

It will be nice to have

  • Experience with any of the following : Reltio, Snowflake, AWS Redshift
